This lad in Arklow has taken to DoneDeal to get himself a date for the Debs

IT’S THE END of July, which means we’re not too far away from Debs season.

And Wicklow man Matthew O’Gorman’s is coming up in a couple of weeks – but he hasn’t got a date yet.

So he just put an ad up on DoneDeal looking for one

The ad went up yesterday and it’s already been viewed over 1000 times:

Hi there, my debs is on the 11th of August and due to circumstances I don’t have a date, so if your interested send me a text.

Promising start.

It’s the full Debs shebang as well:

Debs comes with full trimmings i.e flowers and chocolates for parents, lifts, corsage, food and drink.

And 18-year-old Matthew has a reference from his mam thrown into the description too:

I have a decent job (electrician), Good sense of humour, Generous, Good craic, Don’t smoke, And not that bad looking according to my mother… Like all types o music, Play guitar, bass and ukulele.

His sister is being very supportive
