WITH LINGERIE MODELS so often posed, plucked, spray-tanned and Photoshopped to the hilt, it’s refreshing to see a brand embrace the regular woman.
This new lingerie campaign features writer and actress Lena Dunham and her Girls co-star Jemima Kirke, just sitting around in their knickers looking like normal gals.
The photoshoot is for the New Zealand lingerie label Lonely, who have been using unretouched pictures of women in their campaigns since 2009.
Women are loving the ‘real’ photos and are calling on other brands to start following Lonely’s lead:
C’mon, knicker sellers. Give the people what they want.
