BACK IN APRIL, it was announced that the new Top Gear hosts were making a very special trip to Co Kerry to film an episode.
And last night it finally made it on air.
They drove the coastal roads around the Dingle peninsula – and Kerry was looking well
They got some absolutely class shots of the scenery
As Matt LeBlanc and Chris Evans took it all in driving some classic cars
There were some glowing comments from the lads themselves
And it was nice to see Ireland on Top Gear for the first time looking so well
The overhead shots taken of the Dingle peninsula were only delightful
They chose a grand spot for a spin
The promised GAA match made its appearance too
Which was surely the most surreal part of the night for Irish fans watching
The praise for Kerry was coming from all angles
We’ll take all the compliments we can get today
