This Waterford pub's gin and tonic has just been voted the best in the country

DAVY MAC’S PUB in Waterford is only new in the city, but it’s already got a serious reputation as an excellent gin bar.

And now they have another feather in their cap.

Because their gin and tonic has just been voted the best in Ireland

At last week’s Irish gin and tonic festival held around the country, over 100 venues created a signature Irish gin and tonic for the public to vote on.

And Davy Mac’s came out on top

They created theirs using Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin and elderflower fever tree tonic

Which seemed to go down well with the gin and tonic drinking public
