SUGAR SANDWICHES WERE like the forbidden fruit of our youth.

But why?

1. They were just so BOLD

Don’t be eating those sugar sandwiches, they’re bad for your teeth.

Which made them all the more special and secret. Remember how exciting it was to see all of these ingredients on the counter?

4. They were so simple to make

All it took was some sugar, a bit of butter and two slices of bread. Even little baby you could make it.
