IF YOU’VE BEEN strolling down Liffey Street lately, you may have spotted this sign tucked away in the corner beside the Grand Social:
Pizza and booze! Why, that is entirely relevant to our interests. But where is that arrow pointing to?
It’s pointing to The Yarn, a brand new pizza joint that opened just last weekend.
An offshoot of the Woollen Mills restaurant next door, the Yarn promises great pizza and cocktails, and also boasts this fab rooftop terrace overlooking the Ha’penny Bridge:
Restaurant owner Elaine Murphy told the Irish Independent that her newest offering is a response to the “dearth (with some notable exceptions) of pizza on the north side of the city centre”.
There are few nicer spots to park yourself on a sunny day. Go with haste.
