This Dublin café's chicken sandwich is total #LunchGoals

AH, THE HUMBLE chicken sandwich — the more homespun, healthy cousin of the chicken roll.

While chicken sandwiches can often be disappointing affairs (see: every pre-packed chicken and stuffing sandwich in the history of man), they can be delicious and comforting when done right.

Case in point? The chicken sandwich in Poulet Bonne Femme. (Available in Avoca, Suffolk Street.)

Long regarded as one of the best sandwiches in Dublin, it puts other chicken sandwiches to shame

The filling is simple: rotisserie chicken with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard and a mixed leaf salad on sourdough. No frills, no unnecessary add-ons. Just the trappings of a perfect sandwich.
